SpaceMouse
Object Mode
The SpaceMouse cap represents the model (object) on your screen. The model mirrors all movements of the cap. For more information please refer to your Revit documentation.
Example:
Push the SpaceMouse cap right, the model moves to the right. Twist the cap to the right and your model rotates in place to the right. Lift the cap up/down and the model moves up/down.
Walk Mode
The SpaceMouse cap controls the viewport inside your scene. The viewport mirrors all movements of the cap. When looking down while moving forward, the viewport maintains its altitude over your scene, allowing you to ‘walk’ over it. For more information and finding out how to enable this mode please refer to your Revit documentation.
Example:
Push the SpaceMouse cap to the right to pan your view to the right. Twist the cap right to turn your view to the right. Lift the cap to vertically move your view up. Push the cap forward while looking down to your scene and you will walk forward parallel to the ground.
Fly Mode
The SpaceMouse cap controls the viewport (camera) inside a scene. The viewport mirrors all movements of the cap. For more information and finding out how to enable this mode please refer to your Revit documentation.
Example:
Push the SpaceMouse cap to the right to pan your view to the right. Twist the cap right to turn your view to the right. Lift the cap to vertically move your view up.
2D Mode
Navigate the view without any rotation. The view moves in the same direction as the cap. For more information and finding out how to enable this mode please refer to your Revit documentation.
Example:
Push the SpaceMouse cap to the right to pan your model to the right. Lift the cap to vertically move your Model up
Horizon Lock
Forces the horizon to be kept levelled.
Rotation Lock
Manually toggles rotations On / Off.
